Network Security Engineer

Design and implement complex network architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware devices.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
Implement tools and processes for network performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
Develop, implement, and manage security policies and procedures.
Install, configure, and maintain security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to address them.
Lead efforts in responding to and mitigating security incidents.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure effective disaster recovery processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network and security configurations, processes, and procedures.
Evaluate and select network and security technology vendors.
Manage relationships with vendors and oversee the implementation of their solutions.
Provide training to junior team members and other relevant staff.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in network and security.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security architectures, and technologies.
Strong experience with firewall configurations, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Proficiency in network monitoring tools, Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, Ability to work well in a team and lead initiatives.
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to network and security and ability to draft technical documentation.

B.Sc./B.A in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 Years Minimum/ 10 Years Maximum.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP),
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
or equivalent.
