Duties and Responsibilities
Keep watch inside and outside office by night/day (when necessary) to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to the place
Protect life and property
Ensure that entrances to offices and premises are properly secured, and keys kept under lock after working hours
Ensure that all lights, electrical appliances and water taps are turned off when not in use
Give an account of visitors to the office after official working hours
Remain at post until relieved by a responsible officer Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences in occurrence book Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches
Prepare Annual Work Plan and Performance Appraisal
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Skills Required
Qualifications & Experience
SSCE/WASCE or its equivalent. and ability to read and write with two (2) years working experience. Basic knowledge in security services is a requirement. A Diploma or its equivalent in any programme would be an added advantage as well as basic computer skills. The Person Must have:

Must be alert, honest and transparent
Must be physically and mentally fit
Must be fair and firm and responsive to issues
Must have the tendency and the willingness to work extra hours
Must have interrogative skills Outstanding Surveillance Skills
Must be observant and diligent at all times
Must be smart and neat in appearance
