Clinical Research Associate II

he Clinical Research Associate (CRA) monitors activities at clinical study sites to assure adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and study protocols. Reviews regulatory documents as required and prepares site visit reports. May be responsible for multiple projects and must work both independently and in a team environment.

Participate in the study development and start-up process including reviewing protocols, designing and/or reviewing Case Report Forms (CRF), preparing Informed Consent Forms (ICF’s), developing study documents, organizing and presenting at investigator meetings, working with management on a monitoring strategy, and/or developing project-specific CRA training.

S/he may participate in clinical training programs and maintain awareness of developments in the field of clinical research as needed. S/he may provide a benchmark of monitoring competence to inexperienced/less experienced colleagues.

CARE International in Ghana is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Project Facilitator for PROSPER PROJECT.
PROSPER is a 3-year project targeted at improving the livelihoods of individuals in cocoa-growing communities and enhancing the capacity of communities to own and lead the process of development. It is a partnership between CARE International and Cargill. The objectives of the project are to: 1. Increase access to education and improve child protection. 2. Strengthen inclusive governance. 3. Enhance women’s participation in decision-making processes and in local governance. 4. Improve nutrition behaviors.
The PROSPER project is operational in four cocoa districts – Sefwi-Wiawso, Asawinso, Anhwiaso, and Awaso. The four cocoa districts fall within several political districts/municipalities including:  Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, Sefwi-Wiawso Municipality, Akontombra district, Bodi, Amenfi Central and Juaboso districts in the Western Region of Ghana.

The aim of the Alliance for Integrity is to promote integrity among companies, their business partners and other relevant actors in the economic system. In addition, It contributes to better framework conditions by fostering dialogue between the public and private sector. Currently the Alliance for Integrity Is operational In Brazil, Ghana, India, Mexico and Germany.

Your Tasks

The Network Manager will be in-charge of the management of the Alliance for Integrity in Ghana and the expansion of the Alliance for Integrity in Africa and will have support of the programme staff in rolling out activities.

Programme Officer – Integrated NTDs/WASH/SBCC

The main responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Providing direct programme support to country teams on the roll out of integrated MDA, including the use of all ASCEND management and programme implementation tools and protocols;
  • Coordinate and oversee the “WASH Sector Dialogue” aligned with the national structures and processes, to establish the criteria and process to target investment in water and sanitation services supply and demand to areas with high levels of NTD endemicity;
  • Ensure WASH and SBCC approaches align with the WHO and NNN “WASH and Health Working Together: a “how to guide for NTD programmes”
  • Facilitate the delivery of capacity building support in close coordination with the Coordinator-Implementation (HSS) that enhances the effectiveness of integrated NTDs, WASH and SBCC to government and implementing partners.
  • Align learning, documentation and reporting systems with designated countries to that adopted across the ASCEND programme;

Relationship Executive WaterHealtH Ghana

Relationship Executive (RE) also known as Sales executive, is a part of the Consumer Business Unit (CoBU) and work as a Sales executive with WaterHealth Ghana. The prime responsibility of a Relationship Executive (RE) is to monitor, control and drive profitability (sales) of the assigned plants in terms of Sales, Customer Service, Quality and Operations. Hence, Relationship Executive (RE) directly supervise the Operator and are responsible for the sales and marketing of water at the WHCs. However, in the absence of Operators they take on the responsibilities of plant operations. 

Relationship Executive (RE) generally reports to the Cluster Head (CH). All three members: BA (Business Associate), RE and CH together work as one team.

Program Officer at Speak Up Africa

he Program Officer shall be responsible for designing and conducting Speak Up Africa’s malaria strategy. The Program Officer will implement an advocacy campaign, Zero Malaria Starts with Me, aiming at raising the profile of malaria in Ghana and Sierra Leone.

Both countries are high-burden where the entire population is at risk from the disease. The proposed national campaign shall foster community ownership over malaria efforts and increase political and private sector commitment for malaria elimination among key stakeholders.
