Main responsibilities include:
Develop and execute test plans:
· Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and performance of HVDC.
Conduct testing:
· Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects.
· Actively promoting the model-based testing and reporting.
Collaborate with development teams:
· Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design effective testing strategies.
Quality assurance of testing:
· Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistent product quality.
· Active collaboration with overall Engineering Management as well as support functions.
Defect tracking and logs of testing:
· Use defect tracking tools to log, track, and manage software defects and issues after testing.
· Acts as a driver for the implementation of Best Practices and Lessons Learned for testing.
Reporting:
· Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to development teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
· Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Requirements for the role:
Mandatory Experience and Qualifications
· Masters in IT/Software/Computer engineering or equivalent
