We are a dynamic and fast-growing design and build company specialising in residential refurbishments, extensions, and loft conversions. We are on a search for a Project Manager with a hands-on approach to ensure our projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in residential-scale construction rerurbishments, looking to grow and work closely with our directors.

What we are looking for

  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction
  • Assertiveness & Leadership: You need the confidence and authority to manage teams, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Problem-Solver: A quick thinker who can handle problems as they arise and keep work progressing.
  • Time Management Expert: You’re great at juggling multiple projects and know how to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Growth Mindset: You’re looking for a role where you can grow with the business.
  • Driving License: Preferred, but not essential.

What you can expect your days with us to involve

  • Team Management: You’ll oversee and direct teams on-site, provide leadership, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Site Visits: You may need to visit ongoing and/or past projects.

  • Planning & Materials Management: You’ll be responsible for planning ahead based on project scope, ensuring materials are ordered and delivered on time to avoid delays in the work.
  • Problem-Solving: When things aren’t progressing as they should, you will step in to identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Budget & Time Management: You will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining a strong focus on both profitability and quality.
  • Collaboration: You’ll work closely with directors and other business managers, reporting on project progress and contributing to strategic business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Growth: There’s room to grow into other parts of business if desired, including sales and business development, offering new career challenges and skill-building opportunities.

  • Commercially savvy: You understand the importance of staying within budget and how that impacts the wider business. You know how to manage resources effectively.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
