Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and managing payroll-related inquiries. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and experience with HRIS systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain employee records, including data entry of new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Collaborate with office manager to ensure alignment on employee data and benefits administration.
- Prepare reports and analyses related to payroll metrics for management review.
- Oversee accounts payable functions related to payroll deductions and contributions.
- Ensure the integrity of payroll data by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Provide support for any payroll-related queries from employees, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with human resources functions is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
