Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations, and facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and transportation management systems, along with the ability to analyse data to optimise operations.

Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations, including shipping and receiving activities.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and management of logistics information systems, such as AS400.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipments, inventory levels, and transport schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed to meet operational demands.

Experience

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and data analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in shipping and receiving processes, including knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data entry tasks with attention to detail is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £38,900.00-£39,900.00 per year
