Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business development strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our overall sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries who require courier services.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or courier industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales principles.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
