TWO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and 1 DESIGN AND COMMUNITY MANAGER NEEDED

Africa 7.0 is a community of individuals and organisations seeking to support and strengthen SMEs and start-ups in Africa by matching professionals who want to donate their time and talent to SMEs who need those skills. As a for-purpose social enterprise, African 7.0 is committed to providing transformational volunteer experiences that will help create an empathetic, inclusive, and loving world where people use their talents in service of Africa and the world in General.
We facilitate high impact engagements connecting a vast network of professional volunteers to African SMEs. These engagements result in not only critical work completed, but often also provide an opportunity to develop new and existing skills and ultimately, strengthen an organizations ability to deliver on its mission long-term. Through our work, we hope to create a more collaborative environment where African SMEs have access to high quality talent and where skilled professionals have a meaningful experience.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an individual who can help us build and expand our network of individuals and organisations (i.e., experts) throughout Africa.
Roles and responsibilities for Business Development Managers
The roles for our two volunteers will include the following:
Defining profile of ideal experts.
Identifying and defining all categories of experts needed.
Establishing various templates.
Establishing an on-boarding manual for both individuals and partners.
Reaching out to professionals (at mid-level and senior level) across the world who might be willing to volunteer their time.
Reaching out to organisations that might be willing to partner with us.
Maintaining and growing the team of experts.
Establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
Managing day to day relationships with key stakeholders.
Grow our network of SMEs.
Roles and responsibilities for a Design and Community Manager
Roles and responsbilities for our design and community manager include the following:
Creating our Brand identity.
Manage our social media handles.
Improve our visibility and branding.
Management (including time management).
Working with no supervision.
Ability to work remotely.
Excellent written English communication.
A good knowledge of English is an added value.
Experience in organizational strategy and ability to provide advice over the phone and emails.
Work remotely from anywhere.
Work flexibly; 3 hours per day.
