The Transformation Fellow will work directly with Ministerial leadership on the COVID-19 response and economic rebound. The Fellow will have two reporting lines, i.e., day-to-day operations reporting to the Ministry; and overall objectives reporting to ACET. Ghana is the pilot country in the Think Africa Partnership: Supporting National COVID-19 Recovery Strategies.
The Transformation Fellow will be responsible for support coordination of the program and to facilitate key deliverables. He/she will liaise closely with government, as well as policy institutes and other stakeholders. The Fellow will also participate in research and analysis, leading components as directed by the assigned Ministry and in coordination with ACET management.
Education and Experience
Advanced degree in macroeconomics, trade, finance. business, policy, international relations, law, etc.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and broad professional experience
Proven track record in development, public sector management, private sector or civil society organizations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Technical skills in economics in areas of focus: Resource Mobilization & Management; Governance and Effectiveness; Business and Investment environment; and Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
