About the role
You will be our global new business optimization lead. Your role is to ensure that our in-country teams have the tools and resources needed to effectively grow Viamos in-country programs. You will also be responsible for the identification and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve Viamos customer journey and internal processes. You are good at seeing the big picture while also caring about the details. You are a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and you are extremely organized and reliable.
Lead the development & implementation of Viamos in-country sales optimization strategy, based on the sales pipeline. This includes but is not limited to:
Bi-yearly mapping of Viamos customer journey and identification of improvements
Yearly review and revamp of Viamos repeatable sales handbook, inclusive of a user-centered design approach to gather and incorporate feedback
Apply change management strategies to ensure buy-in and support for optimization initiatives, inclusive of communications planning and staff training.
Drive operational efficiency and Programs team productivity by continuously improving processes, tools, and reporting structures
Train Programs team on sales strategies, tools, and processes
Strategic oversight of recurring Programs processes, such as the Programs Dashboard, Monthly Programs Calls, Pricing Tool, etc.
Conduct market research to ensure Viamo benefits from recent trends in business optimization and industry best practices
Collaborate with Viamos central partnerships teams to streamline collaboration with country business development activities
Use Viamos CRM (currently Copper) and new business development funnel to identify macro and micro trends and suggest improvements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
At least 4-6 years of sales or new business optimization experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly with a range of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated self-management/entrepreneurial skills, adaptability, and resourcefulness.?
Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from outside teams and colleagues
Experience designing & implementing team-wide systems, processes & tools
Experience managing CRMs and other sales software
Strong analytical skills
Experience with Copper CRM
Experience living and working in a Viamo country in Africa or Asia.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in French.
