Publication Report Editor Consultant Overview
The reports below which underscored the need for this offer are based on research studies and program activities of TFHO.
Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices Study on Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH),
Male Condom Psychographic Segmentation study of Users and Non-Users,
Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices Study on Umbilical Cord Care,
The consultant will review and professionally edit the three technical reports related to the studies.
These reports will not be for journal publications but will be posted on the organisation’s website and shared with the donor to showcase work done.
TFHO will furnish the selected consultant with all three reports and ahead of any contracting.
All reports submitted shall be the proprietary property of the USAID Health Marketing Activity.
Main Publication Report Editor Consultant in Ghana Assignment:
Edit and proofread technical reports for grammar, spelling, formatting, word choice, sentence structure, style, syntax, consistency etc.
Provide constructive editorial and technical input to develop a high-quality document.
Work with TFHO’s Technical Director via team meetings during the drafting and review processes of all three reports
Qualification and Experience
Proven editorial and proofreading work and experience as lead author/writer of similar technical reports.
Experience as a researcher in public health, medical anthropology, international development, nursing, medicine,
social science, and other related fields.
Excellent writing skills, accuracy, and great attention to detail.
Understanding of the developing country context.
TFHO Publication Report Editor Consultant in Ghana Application Requirements:
A detailed proposal, including a CV, two references and two samples of relevant technical reports of a similar nature.
Statement of rates/charges.
This may include an hourly rate or a rate per page reviewed.
Please note that the selected applicant will have an opportunity to review the volume and content of all reports and a
finalized rate or fee shall be agreed upon ahead of the commencement of this consultancy.
