Manager, SME Sales- North
Manage the development and implementation of plans targeted at the Government and Public Segment. The incumbent will have responsibility for the overall management of a team of Segment Sales Controllers to acquire, grow revenue and retain corporate customers and improve their overall customer experience.

Manage the implementation of strategies that will stimulate growth of MTN Business within the SME segment.
Manage the delivery of an integrated business solution tailor-made for the SME Segment.
Sell end-to-end mobile voice, mobile data, ICT services, Mobile Financial Services or any other services that may be introduced from time to time.
Ensure effective management of a team of Segment Sales Controllers to ensure consistent delivery of business targets consistently.
Proactively identify and drive channel and product innovation that will continuously stimulate business growth in the SME segment.
Provide customer support to all Business Customers within the Segment.
Identify key opportunities and competitor intelligence to inform product and service innovation for the segment.
Proactively support debt collection to ensure a healthy account status.
Carryout escorts and visits with key staff to ensure effective customer management.
Ensure team utilization of key business tools to support customer support and enhance the selling effort.
Analyse data/reports for decision making.
Develop and implement Annual Account Management Plan for the segment.
Education & Competencies
A relevant University Degree in Marketing or a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience of which 3 years must have been in a supervisory role.
