An emerging hedge fund is looking for potentially two interns to gain valuable experience in the industry. All roles will be virtual and the duration is negotiable: we currently envision it to be for a few months. The fund has an award winning CEO with an exceptional track record and is focused on Emerging Markets. All roles are looking for people who are intellectually curious, analytically sound, and can think creatively. Prior experience, particularly in Emerging Markets, will be viewed positively.
1) Investment Intern
Analyst with strong understanding either of sovereign debt or corporate debt analysis. Ability to do both would be a plus. Could be someone with experience in investment banking or investment management. Even people with an equity background may be considered so long as they also are able to analyse various debt structures.
2) Marketing Intern
Helps to raise capital for the firm. Familiar with fundraising/sales and with excellent people skills. Would be advantageous if they are familiar with the different regulatory regimes across different jurisdictions too. Ability to pitch, deliver presentations with gravitas, and connect to various personalities are also key.
