Human Resource Manager

Millar Cameron is the global leader in agricultural recruitment in emerging markets and we are supporting a leading forestry company. The business has operations across West Africa and is currently looking for a Human Resource Manager to join them in Ghana.

The Human Resource Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Designing  employment contracts
  • Assisting managers in implementing HR policies
  • Administering payroll
  • Recruitment – including composing job descriptions and interviewing 
  • Planning and training new staff
  • Managing disciplinary procedures
  • Carrying out performance appraisals
  • Managing Industrial Relations

The ideal Human Resource Manager will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources function
  • Experience in planning personnel hiring 
  • Extensive experience in employment contracts
  • Knowledge of Ghanaian employment laws
  • Ideally experience in an agricultural environment
