We are looking to employ a Hub and Training Manager. First things first.
Opmax is a business hub that provides services to entrepreneurs to enable them to launch and grow successful companies. We offer entrepreneurs serviced office spaces on demand and on flexible terms, and provide them with fit-for-the-world skills through practical training. Opmax also has a skills development centre for training professionals both in the formal and informal sectors for the 21st-century economy.
As a Hub and Training Manager, you have outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You can think strategically and execute organizational plans. You have excellent research skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing
Organize a minimum of two training per month, with each not attracting less than 20 participants
Research training topics, develop course contents and curriculum
Identify and coordinate with trainers
Speak with prospective participants to explain to them the benefits of our training programs
Manage and attend to hub members
Make calls and send emails
Develop/write proposals and pitch to companies
Manage the hub and ensure that members adhere to House Rules
Take records, issue receipts and manage accounts
Act as moderator, MC or facilitator for events and programs
Organize events targeting business people and entrepreneurs
Identify new business opportunities
Can you deliver on the above tasks? Do you have some direct and indirect experience? Ideally, you have past experience in a similar role.
