Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO) is an indigenous Ghanaian social marketing organization duly registered in accordance with the laws of Ghana on February 1, 2017. We partner with government, private sector, and civil society is to improve the health of people living in Ghana primarily through implementation of innovative evidence-based interventions that increases access to and utilization of health products and services in a measurable and impactful way. Our key intervention areas include: Reproductive (including family planning and HIV), Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH), communicable and non-communicable diseases, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), nutrition, and malaria. Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) and social marketing remains our unique expertise. We utilize our deep insight and skills in SBCC and social marketing to promote positive social and behavior change among individuals and communities using strategies that address the interests of the people we are trying to reach, the obstacles to change and the many forces that influence behavior and choice.

JOB SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer and Content Development consultant will be required to produce professional design services for original content creation and creative deliverables related to TFHOs programming activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Focus
Graphic designing services for publications, traditional and digital media, and other TFHO programmatic needs.
Lead in conceptualizing and developing materials for TFHO programmatic needs.
Participate in relevant meetings (both internal and external).
Key Functions
Conceptualise, develop content, and design concepts for various media platforms for engagements.
Study design briefs to determine requirements, develop illustrations for inputs and test graphics across various media.
Create and store a collection of high-quality photos and visual materials for publications that illustrate TFHOs programming activities.
Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of communications programmes for the organisation.
Design and regularly disseminate media content, such as brochures, factsheets, posters, presentations, visuals for social media campaigns and videos for use.
Create and coordinate social media content to complement TFHO programming activities.
Required Skills or Experience
Degree in Graphic Designing or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years post bachelors degree relevant work experience, 6 of which must be a similar position in a reputable organisation.
Five years of relevant experience in graphic designing, publications, traditional and digital content development, and video production is desirable.
Proven experience in digital content development.
Experience in advertising, communication, and marketing.
Strong portfolio of illustrations / other graphics
Excellent computer skills and ability to use software like InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and other range of media applications for design.
You will be required to keep up with emerging technologies.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of content management systems, visual design skills, a sound understanding of layout designs, typography and interactive media,
Extensive and relevant experience working in the field of graphic designing.
Experience in developing creative materials for a wide variety of target audiences.
Communicates ideas and positions with command, confidence and finding common grounds for harnessing ideas.
Deep knowledge in Practice Areas
Demonstrate planning, organisation, leadership, networking, and management skills.
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing.
Adaptability and flexibility to change.
Design, edit and update promotional and educational materials, publications, brochures, videos, social media posts.
Ability to elaborate and implement communications and publications strategies.
Demonstrates excellent ability to write and communicate orally with accuracy and professionalism.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High level of attention to detail
Flexible, collaborative attitude with proven experience working in a team

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
