Who We Are @ J&J?
The Global Public Health organization is part of the Janssen Supply Chain organization, a global organization responsible for supplying medicines to markets around the world. With Quality as their primary focus, this group strives to provide access and affordability through innovation and strong collaboration with their R&D and Commercial partners to deliver life-changing solutions for patients in need. The GPH SC team is passionate about providing access to pharmaceuticals.

The team is growing by adding this role to lead the GPH Supply Chain vaccine efforts, both in the immediate term regarding the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine candidate, but also in an ongoing capacity for Ebola, HIV, and other candidates in progress. Janssen has committed significant vaccine dosage to the global population, including through significant global organizations such as UNICEF, WHO, PAHO, the EU, and other multilateral bodies. Janssen’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution strategy will likely involve agreements with these organizations – such as has already been made through the UNICEF COVAX agreement – and individual commitments to specific countries in the GPH markets where Janssen operates. The strategy will require leadership to deal with supply chain complexities arising within these markets, and find solutions that will serve as a foundation to ensure Janssen’s future vaccine supply chain delivery excellence across its COVID-19 vaccine and other products.
