A reputable financial institution in Ashanti Region is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to occupy the vacant position of General Manager.
As the General Manager, the role requires providing visionary leadership and executive management to the institution, working with the Board to formulate required policies, overseeing policy implementation to motivate staff, meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements and ensuring continuous growth of shareholders value.
The person must be self-motivated who has the capacity to work to agreed targets.
Formulate policies and procedures for the approval of the Board of Directors and implement same
Provide leadership and guidance for the Bank through co-ordination of activities of all the departments and agencies
Lead in strategic planning and its implementation to stimulate sustained growth
Ensure full legal, policy and regulatory compliance, including timely and accurate submission of Prudential returns
Ensure the efficient management of both human and physical resources to achieve organisational objectives
Ensure sustained improvement of key performance indicators
To execute any other duties that may be assigned by the Board from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
Minimum of Master’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting and Management or its equivalent
CIB, ICA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA and other relevant professional qualification
Candidates with CIB shall have added advantage
10 years banking experience with 8 years as a key management personnel
Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
Computer skills and T24 software knowledge
