A Reputable Roofing Sheet Company is seeking to recruit a General Manager
Job Summary
The General Manager oversees the staff, budgets, and business operations, which includes implementing the overall business strategy and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
He/She must be a thoughtful leader, confident decision-maker, self-starter, and possesses a positive/energetic attitude.
Job Description:
Oversee to the operations of the roofing business
Design strategy and set goals for growth
Work with a wide range of employees, customers, suppliers, and third-party service providers to achieve the overall goals of the company
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
Establish, or ensure adherence to policies and processes
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
Oversee the recruitment and training of new employees
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
Direct the employee assessment process
Prepare regular reports for upper management
Ensure staff follows Health and Safety regulations
Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Qualification Required & Experience
A minimum of Degree in a recognized institution.
Proven experience as a General Manager and/or similar executive role in a similar business
5+ years of commercial roofing experience
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business processes and functions (Finance, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Production, etc.)
Must possess a results-driven attitude and the ability to problem-solve
Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
Strong communication/writing skills
Demonstrate efficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
