Financial Services Accountan

Full Time Greater Accra Reliance Personnel

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Financial Reports, budgeting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Education

1st Degree in Accounting, Economics or related field.
CA/ACCA/CIMA Member.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
Experience in a Management role is desirable.

Key Job Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
Assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and accounting records; and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
Prepare periodic Bank of Ghana Returns
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports monthly.
Guides accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Manage tax and external audits.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Prepare, sign-off, and file monthly bank reconciliations statements.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
Coordinate, prepare, review, monitor budget and provide feedback to Management for efficient resource Coordinate.
Implement and manage accounting software to be used for financial purposes and management information.
Stay up to date with technological advances in accounting software.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
