The ideal Executive Assistant in Accra will provide top-level assistance for the CEO of a leading financial services institution.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities
Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO
Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments
Aid in preparing for excutive meetings & engagements
Compose and prepare correspondence that is sometimes confidential
Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agenda and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO’s schedule is followed and respected. Provides “gatekeeper” and “gateway” role.
Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments
Demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff
Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the CEO
Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement
letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the company.
Draft presentation slides, meeting notes and documents to facilitate executive action
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous exposure to the financial services industry
