Country Sales and Marketing Manager

Full Time Greater Accra Imexco Ghana Ltd.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in Accra, the brand manager reports directly to the CEO.

Develop brands in the on/Off trade channel (through direct or indirect sales) and achieve volumes objectives respecting profitability. Make sure to also manage well the Key accounts on/off.

Be the responsible of the presence, growth and development of the Imexco Portoflio in Ghana

Set budgets and meet sales targets for the year
Supervise sales team, customer care, delivery, brands manager
Support sales team with customer
Visit daily customers
Know all customers personally and visit them frequently
Be very close to key accounts customers
Establish trade and marketing brand plans and insure their implementation
Plan and organise all off trade promotions (promopaks from order to display)
Master the brand identity and the vision of the brand globally and in Ghana
Follow up of training and coaching on brands to the sales and trade marketer
Make sure products is always available at the right price, position, place, with the right promotion : 4 P’s
Liaise with sales team for key indicators of performance and management
Be responsible of all marketing events and Liaise with marketing for implementation of marketing events
Follow up of cash van team and commandos activity
Manage pos inventory and orders
Follow up with finance and logistic on orders and shipment plan
Inform sales of all new arrivals and new products + brief
Weekly meeting with team + one to one follow up
Monthly meeting with team, and management on monthly report and activity + plan
Update of all reports, performance tracking and objectives + budgets targets and update
Be an brand ambassador with media, customers, business community in Ghana
Know, visit customers and follow key accounts customers
Insure development of Long mountain brand worldwide
Follow up collection of credit sales and monitor payment and reconciliation support customer
Manage the development and activity of BACCHUS Wine shop
Business development of Kumasi, Takoradi and in land country
Assure some trainings to staff and improve their ability and performance

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Education: Business Administration, Commercial, Marketing or similar degree.

Languages: English

Professional experience & know how:

At least 5 years commercial and marketing experience

Strong sensitivity to the beverages universe

International experience would be a plus

Technical & management skills:

Sense of business and brand ownership

Highly creative and aware of new trends (fashion, arts, restaurants, travel, etc.)

Builds effective relationships up, down and across the organization

Ability to navigate in a less structured environment
Strong negotiation skills

Personal & interpersonal skills:

Self-motivated and passionate about the Brand development

Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to embody the Brand in “public events”

Extrovert and like night life, like going out in on trade outlets (restaurants, bars, discos)
