Channel Sales Manager

Full Time Greater Accra Region SES

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA

Establish good relationships with the commercial network
Extensive visit of the points of sales across the country
Stay up to date with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities (Pay-TV operators, FTA broadcasters, …)
Forecast and manage sales at least quarterly in advance
Evaluate performance of the channel partners and propose new ideas to improve the results
Deal with and solve problems arising within the commercial network, or between HD+ Ghana and this network.

COMPETENCIES

Excellent sales capability
Passionate about the subscriber’s portfolio growth
Profound understanding of the channel partners – distributor (and his whole commercial network) in order to better motivate and control them
Profound skills and experience in the B2B and B2C relationship management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Experience in managing a commercial network is a prerequisite
Relevant work experience in the broadcast or telecommunications industry a plus
Comprehensive knowledge of the Ghanaian TV market a plus
Able to work alone, with a certain autonomy, but needs to respect a clear reporting towards CEO, and good collaboration with Marketing manager and Product manager.
English is a must, other West African languages is a plus
Drivers licences is a strong asset
