Business Development Executive

Volta Presentation is an agro-processing company devoted to producing superfoods and herbs for a high-value market using environmentally sustainable methods and strict quality control measures.

Through the establishment of extensive distribution networks across Ghana, we have worked our way to becoming the trusted brand behind the success of some of the most innovative food and beverage companies in Ghana.

The ideal candidate will have experience in full cycle business development and will be responsible for developing the international market for our products. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

 

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to enhance same.
Design plans to achieve all objectives and develop plans for new business.
Build relationships with prospective clients
Manage sales pipeline
Analyze the market and establish competitive advantages
Conduct research to identify new markets and opportunities
Develop working relationships that turn into revenue
Actively and successfully manage the sales process: from lead generation to signing agreements, negotiations, closing deals, and assisting the account management
Present company & products to potential clients utilizing all channels and media
Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation
Effectively interact with other departments to deliver client requests
Keep updated on market trends and issues affecting the industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence
Partake in ad-hoc marketing activities in order to increase visibility in current and expanding markets.
Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/professional certification with 3+ years post NSS direct experience
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
CRM experience is preferred
Experience in agribusiness, FMCG, manufacturing/production will be advantegeous
International and electronic sales experience will be equally ad vantageous
