Business Development and Regulatory Specialist

Full Time Greater Accra Erith Health Services

We are looking for a dedicated Business Development and regulatory Specialist to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals, ensure the appropriate licensing, marketing and legal compliance of range of medical products are in order, ensure that the company meet all local, international ,and industrial regulations that apply to our products.

Contractual agreement: Fixed –term appointment

Contract Duration: 6 Months (duration is subject to availability of funds, satisfactory

performance and continuing need for the position).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Ensure that organization complies with outside regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and by-laws

Work hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk

Have appropriate disciplinary measures in place in the event of a regulatory breach in order to avoid future occurrence

Maintain open lines of communication with all relevant decision makers and stakeholders in order to keep all parties informed of regulatory changes.

Organizing training sessions for employees in order to efficiently communicate key regulatory changes and updates

Ensuring standards through disciplinary policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.

Oversight of the full product life cycle

Ensure the Product development programs are compliant

Ensure the product marketing campaigns are compliant

Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business across Africa

Develop innovative strategies for gaining clients; this includes undertaking interviews in order to get feedback and incorporate it in the growth plan.

Establish a knowledge about the business and its development practices, its marketing activities, prospective clients, and the trends for the industry in each country.

Supervise database of client relationship management, and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists in Francophone Africa.

Perform market research to identify new opportunities in Francophone Countries and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities

Create and improve proposals for our new clients.

Act as a liaison between the organization, local, and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience

A Bachelor/Doctor of Pharmacy degree, or a degree in any health-related field from a recognized/accredited institute.

Preferred: An advanced university degree in Business development and/or regulatory affairs.

Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a medical liaison role, business development and regulatory affairs and experience in Francophone Africa.
