We develop our IT systems and digital platforms in several agile release trains. The development model is based on scaled agile framework. We are looking for 3 agile coaches.
Agile coaches help train corporate teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization. They are responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process and are tasked with encouraging workers and leadership to embrace the agile method. The agile coach’s ultimate goal is to arm agile teams with the right knowledge, tools and training so that they’ll be able to use agile to its full potential.
Your duties would include working as a Release Train Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities
Release Train Engineer:
⦁ Manage and optimize the flow of value through the agile release train using various tools, such as the Program Kanbans and other information radiators
⦁ Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)
⦁ Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings
⦁ Facilitate the PI planning event
⦁ Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives (the RTE) and publish them for visibility and transparency
⦁ Assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities
⦁ Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings
⦁ Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary
⦁ Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
⦁ Help manage risks and dependencies
⦁ Escalate and track impediments
⦁ Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
⦁ Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
⦁ Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
⦁ Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
⦁ Help drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle
⦁ Work with the Program Management Office (PMO) on program execution and operational excellence
⦁ Understand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to Guardrails
⦁ Facilitate System Demos
⦁ Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops
⦁ Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices
To succeed you will need:
⦁ Strong understanding of SAFe methodology, Scrum and Kanban. Understanding ITIL is a benefit.
⦁ Experience working as an RTE and a Scrum master
⦁ Knowledge of agile software development
⦁ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
⦁ Interpersonal skills and patience
⦁ Skills for influencing and leading change
⦁ Empowerment and delegation skills
⦁ Good managerial and leadership skills
⦁ Experience in Event Management
⦁ Fluency in English
