Does your company want to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals and at the same time seek business opportunities? Then the Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP) programme is a good opportunity.
DMDP promotes commercially oriented partnerships, which contribute to market development and promote economic growth and employment in developing countries.
DMDP is now open for applications from potential partnerships. DMDP has a budget of DKK 100 million in 2019 for between 10-12 partnerships. Concept note applications must be sent before 09 August 2019.
To be considered, the partnership must as a minimum include one international commercial partner and one non-commercial partner. One of the partners must be local. A non-commercial partner must send the application.
The point of departure for a partnership project is an innovative business idea driven by one or more businesses that conduct responsible business. The business idea must support local development and contribute to promoting SDG 8 (local economic growth and employment).
This is achieved by combining knowledge, solutions and resources from companies, civil society organisations, business organisations, public authorities, and non-commercial partners. This creates more transformative development results and viable business.
